There are not all that many back to school themed paper doll pages. One of the nicest is the September page by Berta and Elmer Hader entitled This is the way Ruth goes to School.
Originally published September 1924 in the Good Housekeeping Magazine. Ruth is one of a series of 12 Girl of the Month pages that the Haders created.
I am constantly amazed at the art that went in to these vintage paper doll pages. This one is frameable as a delightful picture for the wall of a child's room. It also has some wonderful collage or scrapbooking design components.
